Remanufactured Alternators

With the Bobcat remanufacturing process, alternator cores are disassembled and thoroughly cleaned.

We rewind rotors or replace them with new ones. All bearings receive high-temperature grease for better performance in hot and extreme cold conditions. We return many components to original working conditions, including front housings, back housings, voltage regulators, rectifiers and slip rings. We also dip the slip rings and rewound stators in varnish. This prevents coil vibration in slip rings and protects against wear on stators. Finally, alternators are examined and tested to spec before leaving the shop floor.
